Junior Tax Analyst - 3 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Preparing basic tax schedules and worksheets

Gathering and organizing supporting documents for filings

Entering data into tax software and internal systems

Assisting with simple tax return preparation (corporate, sales tax, property tax, etc.)

Performing preliminary reconciliations (e.g., comparing prior year vs. current year data)

Maintaining tax files, records, and documentation for audits

Running standard reports for senior tax staff

Helping with notices by drafting initial responses or pulling required information

Monitoring tax deadlines and updating compliance calendars

Supporting the team with research on straightforward tax questions

Uploading documents to portals and assisting with e-filings

Reviewing invoices and coding tax-related expenses

Assisting with tax remittances under supervision

About You

2+ years of corporate tax experience

Previous experience with SAP is a strong asset

Intermediate Excel ability

Enrolled in CPA an asset

Pay Range

$25 - $35 / hour
