Billing Clerk

We are looking for an organized and detail-focused Billing Clerk to join our team in Pickering, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for managing invoicing processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely billing operations. This position is essential to the financial efficiency and accuracy of our organization.Responsibilities:- Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients, ensuring all billing details align with company policies.- Record and process payments, updating billing systems to maintain accurate account balances.- Respond to client inquiries and resolve any disputes related to invoices or billing discrepancies in a meticulous manner.- Maintain and update billing records to ensure data accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.- Generate and submit regular billing reports to support internal reviews and audits.- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment-related issues and align financial processes.- Ensure all billing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset.- At least one year of experience in billing, accounting, or a related clerical role.- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.- Excellent interpersonal skills for clear and effective communication with clients and colleagues.- Familiarity with accounting systems such as ADP, EHR, or Epic Software is preferred.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
