Concept Design Director - Interior Design

We are partnered with a global design practice is looking to appoint a Design Director to help shape the creative direction of its Toronto studio. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, design-led environment that blends strategy, interiors, and delivery under one roof - and to play a key role in raising the creative benchmark across the region.

You’ll lead concept design, storytelling, and visual direction for high-profile workplace and lifestyle projects, guiding a multidisciplinary team through early visioning and client presentations. The right person will bring energy, pace, and design confidence - someone who can captivate a room, push creative boundaries, and mentor a talented team eager to grow.

What you’ll do

• Lead concept design and presentation for major pursuits and projects
• Shape creative narratives and pitch material that capture attention
• Collaborate closely with strategists, architects, and delivery teams to ensure design intent carries through
• Elevate studio design culture and mentor emerging designers
• Represent the studio confidently in front of clients and industry partners
