Make an impact with our Digital Advisory team as a User Experience Consultant. As a trusted advisor, you will bring a human‑centred approach to our experience design process, focusing on the needs of the user to reimagine how our clients can adopt new digital solutions to support their customers and employees. You will work in collaboration with product strategists, other experience design professionals, and development teams to design and implement new solutions that engage people in new ways.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to understand user need
• Document workflows and business processes
• Create wireframes and visual designs using tools like Figma
• Define functional and design requirements
• Test user interface designs to ensure they address best practices for usability and comply with accessibility standards
• Provide guidance to development teams on best practices and technical approaches for meeting accessibility standards
• Work cross‑functionally with product owners, clients, developers, and QA testers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Write process, technical, and training documentation as required.
• Present findings/deliverables to client teams.
• Coordinate project activities, including planning, client and team meetings, status reporting, and project deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with team members and support a team learning environment

Skills and Experience:

• A post‑secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing user experience services to software development projects.
• Deep knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and AODA compliance requirements
• Experience designing for web, portals, mobile apps, and data user interfaces
• Understanding of digital technology platforms, including web content management systems, mobile apps, customer relationship management (CRM), AI, and analytics.
• Knowledge and experience with various aspects of SDLC and agile/scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability in building strong client relationships.
• Experience building research plans and conducting interviews and facilitating workshops
• Experience analyzing data to extract insights for user behaviour modelling, task analysis, and business process review.
• Ability to work effectively in fast paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in presenting materials and recommendations to small or large audiences.
• Must have Government project experience
• Must hold a Canadian Government security clearance of Enhanced Reliability or greater
• Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset
• Willingness to travel, as required
