Brockville General is a leading member of the Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Ontario Health Team. A partnership of over 50 health, community and social service organizations from across the Counties of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville. Job Responsibilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment while maintaining the utmost professionalismStrong interpersonal skills, flexible, and customer service orientationRemain calm and effectively perform in emergency situationsAble to understand and follow specific instructions and proceduresComplete consistent patrols of the interior and exterior of sitePerform patient watchesComplete incident reporting and end-of-shift reportsSupervise and monitor guests, staff, and patients to ensure a proactive approach to incidentsAdditional duties as assignedQualifications
Valid Ontario Security Guard LicenseValid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit TestProof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)A copy of your immunization records [Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2]Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)Fluency in English (verbal / written) required, Fluency in French is considered an assetAbility to perform physically demanding tasks (extensive patrolling, restraints, etc.)6+ months previous security experience is preferredPrevious healthcare / healthcare security experience is considered an assetMust be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF / MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware : The UoF / MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position / availabilitySteps to get your immunization records :
