The Southern Alberta Medical Program (SAMP) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to lead the establishment of an inter-professional family medicine clinic based on the principles of the medical home model. This role will require a dynamic individual with a strong background in healthcare management, project leadership, and inter-professional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities :
It is hoped that the Community Facing Clinic will begin operations July 2027. This will be a 2-year term position.
The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Administrative Professional Officer (APO) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project. Position Qualifications Education :
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in project management or clinic manager skills.
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the healthcare sector. Clinic manager skills considered a strong asset.

Knowledge :
Understanding of the principles of the medical home model and inter-professional practice.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check. A valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits and submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close is required. Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $75,303.80 - $94,731.95 annually Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $75,303.80 - $114,160.09 annually (APO - Grade 4)
