Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Manager, Surveillance, this position as a Dual Surveillance Supervisor is responsible for monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras and maintaining visual records. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash / cash equivalents transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access
- Supervise other surveillance personnel during their shift
- Maintains logs and records; storing records for evidence purposes
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting on conditions of surveillance facilities and equipment
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Builds strong working relationships
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
High School DiplomaPost secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience an assetMinimum 3 years of work experience; experience in security or surveillance an assetResponsible Liquor Service Certification ( e.g., Serving it Right Certification)Computer proficiencyKeen eye for detail, with the ability to focus on monitors for long periods of timeAdherence to high standards, methods, and proceduresAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseWork Environment Considerations
