(CAN) General Merchandise Associate ~ F / T

A General Merchandise Associate at Walmart Canada plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, safe sales floor. The position requires friendly, proactive interaction with shoppers and a strong focus on product presentation and store cleanliness.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers in a polite, friendly manner and assist them with product selection, pricing and purchasing decisions.
• Cover an assigned sales floor area, zone the area and keep it organized.
• Move feature merchandise to its modular home and maintain modulars and flex modulars.
• Recover merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
• Assists with Front End coverage and communicates with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained.
• Complete safety sweep logs, secure displays and fixtures, and contribute to a hazard‑free work environment.
• Stock merchandise, pick, downstock when applicable, apply product protection when required, and set new shelf caps.

Compensation

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
