Excavator Operators

Key Information :
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an excavator operator or equivalent.
- Must be able to operate and maintain heavy equipment.
- Hours : Project dependent
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends on various schedules.
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description :
- Operate heavy equipment, clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, secure special attachments to equipment .
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment, perform minor repairs to equipment.
- Execute high volume production.
- Fine grading and finishing.
- When required, assist other operators, labourers, and trades.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks for equipment.
Experience and Certification Requirements :
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an excavator operator or equivalent is required.
- CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level 2 are required.
- You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and work positively within a team to achieve a common goal.
- A reliable means of transportation is required.
- Proficient English language skills required.
Education : Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
