Overview :

As Security Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization’s digital assets including its systems and networks. The Security Administrator develops and implements a cybersecurity governance program, security plan, policies and risk management framework; monitors networks and systems, detects security threats and provides specialist technology solutions and expertise in the cybersecurity field.

About the Role / Key Accountabilities :

• Monitor the Security Infrastructure landscape (Firewalls, IDS / IPS, AV, SIEM, Event logging, etc.) augmented by SOC.
• Monitor systems, software / applications, servers to stay ahead of emerging threats
• Manage security investigations and incident response and recovery activities
• Conduct, assess and action vulnerability scans, penetration tests, threat risk assessments
• Provide support to internal teams when security concerns arise
• Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, technical standards and methods as it relates to security administration
• Work with internal teams to apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and as needed
• Monitor all PCs, Servers, and Mobile Devices to ensure security and compliance with the company’s policies and standards
• Research and recommend innovative and automated procedures to enhance and streamline security administration tasks
