Job Description
Seeking an Administrative Assistant for a nonprofit organization’s Health Services unit. This is a SHORT TERM contract starting Monday July 29th until Monday August 12th (inclusive).
Full Time ONSITE Monday to Friday 8 : 30am to 4 : 30pm Duties :
- Reception
- Scheduling Meetings
- Scanning medical charts Arranging referrals to other health care providers Preparing medical files
- Filing and Records Management
- Transferring and receiving files Verifying information
- Administration and Transcription
- Preparing letters and memos Photocopying, scanning and faxing Preparing documentation Database management Opening and sorting mail Ordering and maintaining office supplies
Requirements :
- MS Office including intermediate level in Word
- Strong telephone skills
- Strong computer ability included databases
- Able to use an electronic scheduling system
Asset :
- Proficiency in a 2nd language
- Previous medical administrative experience as well as transcription
- Knowledge of Yorkmed software
- Training and experience with CPIN
