An overview ofyour future role at BBA
The
BBA team is looking for a geomatics professional with a background in thematic
mapping. You'll
work with BBA's Environment and Engineering teams on a variety of projects in
the energy, mining and industrial sectors. You’ll have the opportunity to join
a growing, dynamic team focused on client service quality.
An
overview of your mandates and responsibilities
- Carry out various thematic mapping projects
- Carry out interactive mapping projects and upload geospatial data
- Perform spatial analyses based on requests to extract various data
- Manage and update SIG databases
- Process 3D and matrix data
- Perform product quality control
- Provide technical support, serving as a resource to project teams, and respond to internal and external requests for information
- Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams (environmental specialists and engineers) and with various BBA offices across Canada
- When necessary, assist field teams with technical surveys and georeferencing work
- Participate in development and improvement projects within the team of geomatics professionals
