Job Description
Position Summary : Responsible for meeting and greeting residents, guests, suppliers and vendors in a memory care setting. Monitors visitors entering the building and ensures that they sign-in. Answers / transfers incoming phone calls and handles switchboard to respond to all communication needs and inquiries.

Qualifications
Education Required (Preferred) : High School diploma or equivalent in education, training and experience
Years / Months of Experience : One year of experience working as a Receptionist / Switchboard Operator. Prefer experience in senior housing environment.
Knowledge / Skills : Knowledge of telephone / switchboard operations; Organization; Excellent Communication skills; Ability to multi-task; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
Special Requirements (if applicable) : Doctor’s statement verifying free from communicable disease

Physical requirements of the job : Sedentary work – exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and / or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently and / or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

Clerical / Administrative -including the work of people who do analysis of data, work at a computer terminal, and read.
Environmental Factors : None – the worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
