Description de posteProgram the machine using a Fanuc controller with Mastercam Load, evaluate, and run specific programs by understanding controller capabilities and parameters Operate laser and probe for precision tool and datum pickup Adjust machine settings, feeds, and speeds to maintain quality and efficiency Verification and conformance : Verify the accuracy and alignment of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure specifications and tolerances are met. Post-machining detailing : Deburr and finish details by filing, tapping, grinding, or scraping. Machine maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools to ensure optimal performance. Experience : 3+ years of machining experience. Qualifications : Completed apprenticeship and certification as a machinist are assets. Overview
Join to apply for the CNC Machinist – Boring Mill role at Valiant TMS. This is a night shift position in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. We are seeking a CNC Machinist with experience in machining precise components for tools, jigs, fixtures, and gages. You will collaborate with other skilled machinists and toolmakers to deliver high-quality results for our customers.
Compensation : $29.00 – $33.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on education, experience, skillset, or location.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Blueprint and schematic review : Analyze blueprints and drawings to determine machining processes, dimensions, and assembly procedures using knowledge of tool design, shop math, and machining methodologies.
