Summary
As Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing sub ledgers for periodic financial statement with analysis forming part of schedules and notes. This role will be coordinating with other teams like IT, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales and Operations. In addition, this role will play active role in system improvements and controls by participating in various projects, aid in preparation of management reports, analysis and forecasting, preparation for audits and ensuring statutory compliances.

Primary Responsibilities
Analyze the assigned portion of Financial statements periodically and performing variance analysis comparing last period and last year resultsAssist in preparing management reports with detailed analytical insights as to reasons for variancesAssisting with all audit enquiries for our yearly financial audit with proper reasons and backupsParticipate in system improvements and controls in SAP by being an active player and coordinating with other teamsMonitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and proceduresAssisting in forecasting and cashflow projection for management on an ongoing basisCreate financial models by performing ad-hoc financial analysis to provide financial impact and recommendations to management on a timely basisEnsure compliance with all relevant local, provincial, state, and federal tax filings and reporting requirementsManage intercompany transactions by ensuring proper controls are in place and co-ordinationEnsure all financial transactions are recorded properly and prepare periodic accrualsPrepared schedules and reconciliations for major accounts such as treasuryRequired Ingredients :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 2 years of accounting and finance experienceStrong FICO experience in SAP preferrableAdvanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI userManufacturing and food industry experience is preferredStrong communication, presentation and multi-tasking skills requiredWorking towards CPA s an assetWhat is the recipe for a great career at FGF?
