Position Overview

First Truck Centre, doing business as Velocity Truck Centres, has an exciting opening for a Service Advisor at our Edmonton South branch. Primary Job Functions

  • Greet customers, book appointments, write up work orders, and schedule repairs.
  • Create estimates for the service department.
  • Responsible for department invoicing.
  • Sell repairs and services recommended by the technician.
  • Follow up with customers and keep them updated.
  • Explain all work performed and charges.
  • Qualifications

  • Great customer service both in person and over the phone, verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once.
  • Confidence using computer systems, writing reports, and using scheduling tools.
  • Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment.
  • Previous experience in the automotive or trucking industry is an asset.
  • Able to climb in and out of Class 8 trucks.
