Position : Product Manager, Industrial Chemicals

Location : Delta, British-Columbia

Workplace Flexibility : This position requires frequent travel. Interested candidates are asked to be located in the Greater Vancouver area.

Status : Full-time, permanent (1)

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and highly motivated professional to fulfill the role of Product Manager  for our Industrial Chemical group. The Product Management role at Quadra is a blend of marketing and procurement functions. We are looking for a candidate that will have marketing and supply chain experience with an open mind and good business acumen!

Reporting to the Product Market Manager, the candidate will bring to this position professional product expertise to lead the organization while making strategic product decisions. What would be your main responsibilities as a Product Manager? :

  • Ensure reliable and competitive supply of products aligned with the needs of target markets
  • Develop and maintain a robust, multi-level supplier relationship through regular, documented interactions in Salesforce
  • Conduct formal evaluations of supplier performance
  • Drive ongoing market development and sustainable, profitable growth of the product portfolio
  • Serves as central liaison between the sales team, customers and suppliers, balancing company objectives with customer requirements and supplier expectations
  • Act as a subject matter expert for key products and markets, staying informed about industry trends and developments
  • Maintain and manage accurate and competitive pricing by updating price lists regularly and ensuring alignment with market dynamics
  • In collaboration with their Procurement Specialist, analyze monthly product performance reports to identify opportunities for improvement or growth
  • Represent the company in focus industries by attending trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance visibility and build connections
  • Foster trust and credibility with the commercial team, build strong ties, promoting collaboration efforts to achieve business goals
  • Ensure accuracy of product information within Salesforce and the broader product portfolio
  • Actively contribute to shaping group objectives and fulfilling the organization’s mission
  • Lead initiatives to explore potential new products and identifying emerging target markets for growth opportunities
  • Delivering presentations both for internal and external communication ( suppliers, customers, conferences)

  • The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business-related field
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience as a sales professional in the industrial chemical industry
  • Professional procurement accreditation an asset
  • Proven experience analyzing markets and developing marketing plans
  • Communication proficiency in French and English (oral and written bilingualism) is a strong asset
  • Proven Microsoft Office 365 skills as well as strong CRM skills (Salesforce experience would be an asset)
  • Proven business acumen and commercial knowledge
  • Proven ability to manage and influence others
  • Excited to contribute towards a high-performance culture, accustomed to a fast-paced environment
  • Must posses a valid passport and driver’s license : willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of working time (including overnight and international travel)

    British-Columbia Applicants :   We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity with competitive compensation tailored to your unique qualifications and experience. The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be $83,900 - $141,600. This range serves as a guideline, and your total compensation will reflect factors like your knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
