Overview

Nasittuq provides Operation & Maintenance services for the North Warning System (NWS). The NWS is a joint Canada and United States early-warning radar system with 47 sites located in Northern Canada; a Control Centre located in North Bay, ON and a Contract Management Office located in Ottawa, ON.

Scope

Nasittuq Corporation is currently seeking an FPGA - Embedded Software Developer who will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, documentation and release of various software products. The Developer will work on product development of new designs and modification of existing software to meet schedule and defined baseline requirements. Specific developments and duties will span multiple areas and involve work on some of the following systems : radar products, control / communication systems and Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute software development for NWS equipment; including real-time radar systems, Automated Test Equipment (ATE), and other Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
• Estimation of time of assigned tasks working in a schedule driven environment
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned, to support the overall program and mission, and other initiatives of Nasittuq
