Warehouse Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Warehouse Labourer. The successful candidate will assist with various manual tasks on construction sites, warehouses, or other industrial settings. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving shipments, inspecting for accuracy and damage
• Assist with processing shipments, sort and label items
• Maintain warehouse inventory
• General facility maintenance: keep warehouse clean, organized and free of hazards
• Carry out basic construction, maintenance, or labor-related tasks
• Operate basic machinery and tools
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
• Pick up and/or make deliveries
• Monitor and track regular maintenance of company vehicles including cleaning inside and outside
• Liaise with team members, supervisors, management, and third parties locally and at various sites
• Ensure proper disposal of waste products
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is an asset
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks which may include lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a construction/warehouse setting is an asset
• Drug and Alcohol Testing
