AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Reports to the Manager Accounting provide project program and/or administrative support to the Finance division. Ensures efficient and effective delivery of programs and services by providing direct functional support in a specialized/technical area of work and responds to inquiries received by the section/division.

• • Provide program assistance and support for divisional initiatives programs processes projects and events
  • Respond to customer inquiries/concerns and provide information regarding programs and services to meet divisional service standards
  • Independently fulfills administrative and program duties as related to area of work including correspondence documentation minute taking preparing memos and reports presentations
  • Supports Corporate project leads in the planning coordination implementation and evaluation of divisional policies programs special events
  • Participates in working groups and brainstorming sessions to provide input ideas insights
  • Assist with data entry and database management (data audits reconciliations etc.)
  • Perform qualitative/quantitative research and analysis in a technical and/or specialized discipline to identify trends industry best practices and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Communicate and follow up with business partners (internal and external) to complete tasks / projects on time
  • Prepares project / program updates for review by management
  • Maintain confidentiality based on the requirement to access and maintain sensitive sectional or divisional and organizational communication reports materials and records
  • Maintain an understanding of department programs and services
  • Understand adhere to and enforce Corporate Policies & Procedures Confidentiality Guidelines Emergency Procedures and Health and Safety Standards for all participants and staff
  • Attend meetings/training as required

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• • High school (Grade 12) graduation plus working towards an Undergraduate Degree and/or Post-Graduate Degree in Business Marketing or post graduate certificate in related field
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of discipline specific principles
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Practical knowledge of applicable software(s) within discipline.
