Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly salary payroll
- Investigate and follow up on any payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner
- Process hourly payroll
- Reconcile, prepare, audit and submit all reports
- Perform and coordinate all year-end requirements / reconciliations including T4, WSIB, etc.
- Update and maintain Payroll / HRIS system
- Process timely pension remittances to pension plans
- Administer STD and LTD benefit programs in accordance with established guidelines
- Provide employees with employment letters and other employee verifications as requested
- Generate monthly scheduled and ad-hoc reports in the payroll system
Requirements :
3+ years’ experience as a Payroll and BenefitsManufacturing industry experience requiredExperience with ADP WorkForce NowExperience partnering with HR a plusUnion payroll experienceCPA / PCP designation requiredStrong analytical and problem solving skillsSolid communication and interpersonal skillsStrong PC skills (Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint).Medical, Dental benefits, RRSP, Company Pension, Profit Sharing
