Perform requirements gathering duties and create and maintain appropriate documentation
such as process documents, business requirements documentation.
Perform gap analysis and create and maintain appropriate documentation such as current
state, future state, gap analysis documentation. - Applies an appropriate level of business analysis processes and controls to the project using
generally accepted frameworks (ex. IIBATM). - Identifies and documents risks. -
Process mapping. - Leading / facilitating workshops with project teams and stakeholders, including senior
executives. - Leading stakeholder communications, managing stakeholder expectations. - Submit weekly status report and time sheet submission.
At UM, our Project Management methodology is PRINCE2, and our Solution Development
methodology is Solution Architecture-Driven. Prior experience working with Solution Architects in
a collaborative way is required. The Senior Business Analyst works along with the Solution
Architect and Project Manager to form the Project Leadership team.

Work Hours
The normal business hours for the Senior Business Analyst roles are 8 : 30am to 4 : 30pm central
time, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch, for a total of 7 hours a day, 5 days a week
A hybrid work schedule is expected of 2-3 days working remotely, with the work conducted
remotely through a mandatory VPN on a University provided laptop. In person work is required 1
2 days per week. An in person visit to the Fort Garry campus is required on the starting day of
the engagement to pick-up the laptop and for onboarding activities.
