Overview
Perform receipt inspection and testing using predominantly standard techniques and processes. Prepare straightforward reports (receipt inspection, shipping, etc.). Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems generally of a routine nature. The assignment is within the Nuclear Equipment Solutions department and is predominantly in the field of inspection, shipping, and general lab work.
Accountabilities : How You Will Make an Impact
- Perform all duties in a safe manner in compliance with Kinectrics policies and procedures.
- Perform inspection of product and document on inspection forms, and preparation of shipments.
- Perform basic inspection and tests using predominantly standard techniques; provide support in laboratory conducting inspections, quality control, etc.
- Conduct testing and assembly / packaging of components / equipment.
- Assist with and sometimes design, assemble and maintain equipment, processes, systems and development of test methods.
- Participate in the analysis of test results and data by use of standard software packages.
- Write reports of a predominantly routine nature.
- Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, inventory reports, account statements and other financial statements using computerized and manual systems.
- Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by following good quality and safety practices in all aspects of the work performed.
- Perform clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.
- Perform routine processes and duties such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, housekeeping, etc.
- Frequent travel to and work at customer sites in Canada and on occasion internationally
- Perform other duties as required.
