Summer Student – Parks and Beaches
Summer students support the City of Kelowna’s Parks, Beaches during the summer season. These positions perform a variety of duties depending on the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Engage with the public
- Maintain shrubs and lawns
- Weed and rake
- Shovel and mow
- Paint lines
Work Schedule
Employment dates : Early May through late August. Hours : 7 : 00‑15 : 30 or 6 : 00‑14 : 30 (may vary). Days : Monday to Friday (weekends may be required).
Requirements
Compensation
$24.27 per hour plus 14% in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays and benefits.
Location
PARKS OFFICE / YARD.
