We are looking for a Client Service Representative to join our Global team in our Toronto office!

As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting the Client Executive and / or Team Leader in meeting the Canadian service requirements of international accounts in conjunction with various non-Canadian domiciled sourcing brokers by developing and maintaining excellent client and source broker relationships.

Your day as a client service representative

  • Work directly with foreign broker partners and their foreign clients who are investing in, or have existing operations, within Canada.
  • Ensure that service proficiency and standards are met with all broker partners and clients, in alignment with our Global Services mandate.
  • Handle day-to-Day account service and oversight including marketing campaigns, presentations, clerical work and insurance placements.
  • Conduct coverage comparisons, due diligence and contract reviews.
  • Follow up with underwriters, broker-dealers, and clients on unresolved files.
  • Collaborate with Client Service Managers and / or the Client Executive to negotiate changes, renewals and new businesses (if applicable) with insurers.
  • Request missing information, endorsements, and policy documents from insurers and perform the proper follow-ups.
  • Maintain renewal lists, registers, and records of the policies so that they are organized and up to date.
  • Ensure maximum retention of existing customers by providing exceptional service through regular communication with customers to verify the quality of service delivered as well as meeting and exceeding their expectations.

    • Our ideal candidate

  • 5-7 years Commercial Insurance experience, exposure to Global / Cross – border business is an asset.
  • Professional designation required (RIBO)
  • Good knowledge of markets and their policy wordings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently, as part of a team
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Good knowledge of Intact Broker Portal and EPIC is an asset
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Customer focused and service oriented.
