Job Description :

Insight Global is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Functional Consultant to provide depth and experience for its IT operations located in Canada and the U.S. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who enjoys rolling up his or her sleeves and working with the team to achieve goals, bring about successful change and increase customer satisfaction. The Functional Consultant will be a process change expert and extremely knowledgeable in modern ERP systems, ideally IFS Cloud ERP. Design, testing and training experience will be key to support Welded Tube’s transition to a new ERP system, and business process improvements. This position will be responsible for a broad range of functional areas including but not limited to; finance and IT and report to the IT Manager, Business Systems. The ideal candidate will be a functional consultant with strong financial management skills who has also worked through multiple ERP implementation projects and have a strong understanding of how finance and IT systems interact with one another.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's / College Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Business or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of IT work experience with experience in product costing
  • Experienced with managing and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with at least 1 full scale ERP implementation experience. (Ideally direct experience implementing and / or supporting IFS Cloud ERP)
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence tools, especially Power BI.
  • Experience in systems / business process analysis, user support and customer service.
  • Adept at identifying inefficiencies in Business Processes and technology solutions.
  • Ability to explain and present technical concepts and theories to a non-technical audience.
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Highly effective project management skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with individuals at all levels of the organization and works well in a team environment.
