Grants and Community Engagement Coordinator

Aspire Child Development Centre (Aspire) is looking for a Grants and Community Engagement Coordinator who would like to contribute to our work supporting children with diverse needs and their families. This role is primarily responsible for researching, writing, and managing grant proposals to secure funding for our organization.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled writer with a strong understanding of grant and administrative processes. They will also understand the importance of developing clear communications and cultivating connections to support Aspire.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• The capacity to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads
• Problem solving skills and project management ability
• Excellent knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office 365 and database applications

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education relevant to the position
• 2 years of relevant work experience skills may be considered.

Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: In person Red Deer, Alberta
Aspire is located in Red Deer, Alberta and is nicely situated between Calgary and Edmonton. We are open from 8:30 to 4:30, Monday to Friday, and our centre is closed between Christmas and New Years.
Compensation: From $24.39 per hour
