Cadet Camp Blackdown runs from 19 June to 20 August. It offers short-term employment with full and part-time hours.

Rations and quarters may be available if required. Language proficiency in English is necessary.

As an RN, responsibilities include providing healthcare services to cadets, civilian instructors, and onsite civilians. Activities involve patient assessment, screening, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, patient counseling, and facilitating access to health services. The RN must be available for shifts of eight or twelve hours, including weekdays and weekends.

Key duties include :

• Applying policies and procedures for medical services to military and civilian members;
• Assessing and treating patients, referring complex cases to higher authorities;
• Documenting patient information accurately;
• Administering OTC medications within scope and authority;
• Following up on patient health issues and maintaining communication with medical authorities;
• Promoting hygiene, safety, and disease prevention among camp members;
• Assisting physicians during clinic hours;
• Managing cadet medication intake and documentation;
• Providing oversight and review of cadet medical forms during camp intake;
