Millwork Installer

Overview

An established, premium Millwork company, producing a wide mix of commercial projects throughout British Columbia, is looking for a Millwork Installer with experience in architectural millwork and cabinetry to join our team.

The Millwork Installer works on-site in various commercial and residential settings and is responsible for millwork / cabinet installations, from start to finish, in accordance with supplied specifications and established quality standards. We are looking for a proven professional that takes pride in being organized, efficient and safe while preserving the condition of the customer’s install site and property.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation of millwork components, hardware and materials to specified standards.
• Perform all measurements and modifications to ensure precise fit.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule as required with a keen attention to detail.
• Work with other team members to ensure the end product meets the expectations of clients, property managers, project managers and other stakeholders.
• Maintaining a focus on safeguarding private property and preventing a cluttered work site with good housekeeping practices at all times.
• Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may or are affecting completion of the job to the appropriate person.
• Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of hand tools and on-site equipment.
• Inform customers about the functionality, care and upkeep of their new installations and resolve any final installation issues to ensure project completion.
