Position : Maintenance III – Journeyman Electrician

Location : Hinton Zone

Start Date : November 1, 2025 or a mutually agreed upon date

Hours of Work : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, (8 : 00am- 4 : 30pm) inclusive.

Wage : $40.80 - $44.80, in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement

Summary

The successful candidate will provide electrical services to the Facilities Department, and works under the direction and supervision of the Director of Facilities.

Duties

• All related general electrical duties
• Maintain Fire Alarm Systems
• Maintain Building Control Systems

Qualifications

The Division

Grande Yellowhead Public School Division (GYPSD) stretches from Jasper National Park, east to Evansburg, south of Cadomin, and northwest to Grande Cache. The jurisdiction includes 17 schools, 5 Learning Connection Centres, approximately 5000 students and 600 staff. The Division is governed by seven elected Trustees.
