Position: Controller - Real Estate and InvestmentLocation: Downtown of MontrealWe are seeking a strategic and experienced professional to lead our Corporate Accounting Services team. The Director of Corporate Accounting Services plays a key leadership role, overseeing the financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance functions. This position requires a forward-thinking individual who can manage complex financial operations while contributing to the organization's overall financial strategy.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all corporate accounting functions, including general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, standards, and internal policies.- Provide leadership and direction to accounting teams, promoting efficiency, accuracy, and professional development.- Collaborate with executive leadership on financial planning and decision-making.- Manage audits, both internal and external, ensuring timely and accurate completion.- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and systems to improve operational effectiveness.- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation strongly preferred).- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.- Extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards and internal control practices.- Proven ability to manage complex financial systems and processes.- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.- Experience working in public/private sector/industry is considered an asset.What We Offer:- A dynamic and inclusive work environment.- Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.- Competitive compensation and benefits package.- A chance to contribute to high-impact financial strategy and operationsPlease send your resume as a Word document to Milene Rizcalla at the following address: mrizcalla@quantum.ca.
