RVH is seeking to connect with students nearing completion of their education programs to provide the opportunity to have a job secured upon graduation! As a key member of our program, you will play a crucial role in all aspects of your chosen profession within our Medical Imaging team. RVH is a state of the art organization, currently undergoing significant growth, including a capital plan that will see the current North Campus double in size over the next ten years, while developing the new South Campus in Innisfil.

Specifically in our Department of Medical Imaging, you will see:

• A large General Radiography department with 3 dedicated x-ray rooms and 4 mobile units. Our team sees patients from the emergency department, inpatient units, outpatient clinics and participates in OR work including orthopedics and pain clinics.
• Three Interventional Radiology suites, where our highly skilled MRTs work closely with our radiologists and nursing team to provide a wide range of complex procedures to the entire North Simcoe Muskoka region.
• A bustling CT department with 2 dual energy scanners that operate 24/7, and a highly efficient team of MRTs who provide high quality acute care to all patient types.
• A state-of-the-art Breast Imaging department with 4 units and a prone biopsy table, that is the largest OBSP centre and only high risk program in our region.
• A growing Nuclear Medicine department that is currently replacing all of its units with the most cutting-edge technology, and a brand new PET/CT that opened in November 2023 to provide this vital care to patients closer to home.
• An innovative MRI department that is leading the way in providing complex imaging to the entire region, with a third unit coming in 2025.
• A large sonography fleet with continued upgrades of equipment yearly.
