Description de posteProvide on-the-floor supervision and support to employees and coach and develop them to ensure standards are being maintained Be involved with ongoing menu / wine / cocktail development Have a good understanding of day-to-day expectations, tasks and operations as well as forethought to upcoming events Review guest comments, respond to any concerns in a timely and professional fashion Understand both the restaurant's and the hotel's financial goals to achieve superior long-term financial returns to our shareholders Ensure that service essentials, steps of service and brand standards are being followed by the team Must have 2 years previous experience as a Leader in Food & Beverage; preferably in a full service hotel or upscale restaurant Must have pro-serve certification and POS system experience Wine knowledge at or above WSET Level 2 an asset Diploma or Degree in Hospitality / Hotel Administration an asset A passion for food & wine Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays Must be able to lift and carry up to 20+lbs and be able to be on your feet for 8 hours or more Subsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time status employees One complimentary meal per shift in our staff cafeteria (additional meals can be purchased for $4 / meal) Comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Vision & Dental) including extended benefits like; Mental Health, Orthodontics, Fertility Drugs and Gender Affiration for full time permanent status employees Defined Contribution Pension Plan with employer matching up to 5% of annual earnings for full time permanent status employees Employee travel program with discounts on room rates as well as on food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties world-wide Access to the Mountain Explorer Travel Program - exclusive room rates for colleagues, which includes 50% off all food & beverage when staying at Fairmont Resorts in Lake Louise, Jasper & Whistler Discounts while using our resort's Food & Beverage Outlets, Fitness Centre, Spa and Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Courses

Job Description
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will ensure that employees provide phenomenal guest experiences resulting in lasting memories. They will lead, develop and coach a team of professional employees to enhance the level of service and meet standards.
Food & Beverage Overview
Our mission is to make Food & Beverage the heart and soul of all of our hotels by creating a free standing food & beverage mentality in our hotels that is relevant, profitable and exciting; connecting us, our guests, and the community together.
Candidates will be matched to one of the following Restaurants based upon experience :
- Rundle Lounge
- Vermillion Room
- Waldhaus
- Castellos / 1888 Chophouse
- Golf Course

Starting at $55,000 - $57,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education
Note - preference will be given to those that our available for the full season (May-October 15th)
