Job Summary :

Position : Android Developer
Location : Calgary Canada - Remote (must be legally authorized to work; no visa sponsorship)
Company : Infiligence a global technology company with offices in Chennai Hyderabad and California USA

Key Responsibilities :

Design develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

Implement modern UI components and follow best practices

Lead and execute data migration from Realm Sync to PowerSync ensuring data integrity and performance

Collaborate with backend teams for API integration and data synchronization

Optimize app performance reliability and scalability

Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards

Debug and resolve application issues across various Android versions

Stay updated with latest Android development trends and technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications :

4 6 years experience in Android application development

Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming

Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose

Practical experience migrating databases from Realm Sync to PowerSync

Understanding of mobile data sync and offline-first architectures

Experience with REST APIs JSON and third-party integrations

Solid grasp of Android architecture components (MVVM ViewModel LiveData / State)

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Other Requirements :

Must be legally authorized to work in Calgary Canada (no visa sponsorship)

Permanent Residents will be considered
