Join Our Team as a Supply Chain Coordinator!
Valiant TMS, a global industry leader, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Procurement Group. This role is responsible for coordinating supplier deliveries and contracted services to support manufacturing schedules and customer delivery commitments.
Working closely with Project Management, Purchasing, and external suppliers, you will monitor open purchase orders, track delivery timelines, and proactively identify risks that could impact project execution. This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who excels at follow-up, communication, and keeping multiple priorities on track in a project-driven environment.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Ensure the timely delivery of assigned purchased goods and contracted services to support manufacturing timelines and customer delivery commitments.
- Monitor job-related open purchase orders to ensure alignment with assembly requirements; proactively identify and report schedule variances to the Project Manager and Purchasing.
- Create, maintain, and distribute accurate open purchase order reports in SAP for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with suppliers to confirm delivery status, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
- Escalate ongoing or recurring supplier issues to Purchasing and support resolution efforts.
- Document supplier meetings, site visits, and issue resolutions in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate changes to supplier information, performance, or profiles to Purchasing and Accounting.
- Provide general support to the Procurement team and perform other related duties as required.
What We Are Looking For
Diploma or degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Business, with experience in supply chain; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Working knowledge of the automotive machine and tool industry.Experience in fabricating and machining environments, as well as mechanical and / or controls disciplines, is considered an asset.Demonstrated proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Travel to the U.S. may occasionally be required.What We Offer

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skillset, or location.
