Corporate Paralegal
THE ROLE
We are partnering with a reputable Canadian law firm located in Surrey, BC. Currently, we are looking to add an additional team member to their corporate team as they have a need for a Corporate Paralegal.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintenance of electronic minute books
- Preparation of Annual Reports and supporting resolutions for BC companies, federal companies, and Societies
- Incorporations
- Preparation of supporting documentation for dividends, redemptions, and other basic corporate transactions
- Business transactions
- Reorganizations
REQUIREMENTS :
- 3+ years of corporate law experience
- Successful completion of an LAA certificate or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Strong organizational skills, proactive and a problem solver
- High attention to detail and methodical approach to work
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and working with computers, printers, scanners and communications technology
- Strong communication skills both on the phone and in person and written communication, including electronic communication
- Professional customer service experience with the ability to perform under time pressure and manage client relations
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
