COMPANY DESCRIPTION :

A manufacturing company established for over 35 years, this private organization specializes in producing high-quality equipment for the food industry. Experiencing significant growth, it provides tailored solutions to meet the needs of major retailers in North America, including supermarkets and big-name retail chains.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Director of Human Resources is responsible for strategic planning and the implementation of HR activities. They oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent management, policies, and organizational development, to support the company's growth and objectives.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Ensure the efficiency of daily HR operations by addressing specific requests and organizational needs.
  • Develop and monitor HR activities to establish and sustain a new corporate culture.
  • Enhance performance management practices and implement a compensation strategy aligned with the company’s growth.
  • Promote HR best practices to position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Oversee the implementation of initiatives related to the "Francization Committee" and compliance with Law 96 in collaboration with the OQLF.
  • Manage all internal communications within the organization.
  • Provide HR support to the affiliated California-based company, Dynamic Commercial Service.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget.
  • Supervise and support an HR advisor.

Profil

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 2 to 5 years of experience managing an HR department.
  • Proven expertise in leadership and team management.
  • Demonstrated ability in coaching and driving organizational change.
  • Strong capacity to build and maintain solid relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in computer tools (MS Office, ERP systems).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • CRHA certification (asset).

    WORK CONDITIONS :

  • Salary between $110,000 and $125,000 (+ 15% bonus).
  • Hybrid work model (2 days remote).
