Who - the Company :
Based in the Surrey, the company is an established and successful organization with a global presence that manufactures and engineers telecommunication products and services.
What - the Role :
The role will be supporting the company’s construction business unit covering Canadian operations. The business unit handles a high volume of projects, and you will be providing meaningful and value-added financial analysis, critical decision support, and business partnering, particularly to the VPs.
The primary focus will be on financial analysis, comparing budgets and forecasts to actuals, and explaining any anomalies, especially for the critical 3-month rolling forecast.
Additionally, you will support month-end tasks for the business unit, which typically take only two days to complete.
You will join an existing FP&A function, and report to a personable, energetic, and highly knowledgeable Director of FP&A.
Who - the Candidate :
- Minimum 3 years of experience within accounting or financial analysis, although some financial analysis experience is preferred.
- Industry background in construction, manufacturing, engineering, forestry, or similar heavy industries is preferred, but not a must.
- A CPA designation will be an asset.
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Understanding of month-end processes.
- Flexibility to thrive in a changing environment.

They are based in Surrey, and there is free on-site parking, or they are accessible by public transit.
How Much :
Base salary of between $80,000 and $90,000, 4% RRSP matching, health and dental benefits, 3 weeks of vacation and 3 personal days.
