Agilus is recruiting for a Project Manager in the Mining and Refining Business in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
The Project Manager will be managing all aspects of engineering projects, including defining the Project scope, budget and schedule, and safe execution of projects directed towards business and organizational objectives.
Responsibilities :
- Execute projects in accordance with policies, standards, practices and procedures to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements, and organization's health, safety and environmental standards
- Lead project development ensuring engineering processes are in place and followed in accordance with the site Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP) as required by APEGA
- Demonstrate strong project life-cycle approach by defining project scope and deliverables in each stage of the project
- Identify engineering, procurement, construction and other resources appropriate for the scope of the project
- Develop execution strategies to deliver efficient and effective execution of projects
- Develop AFE for project financial approval
- Perform project reporting according to project needs and project management standards
- Lead effective project change management and perform effective project risk management for strong project delivery
Requirements :
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field (i.e. Engineering, Science)
- Professional designation in Engineering or Technology : P.Eng., C.E.T. or similar
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
- 8+ years of Project Management and industrial plant experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, P6 or other PM software an asset
- Finance / business acumen with strong analytical skills
- Job planning and turnaround planning an asset
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
