The Role :
The Bilingual (French / English) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the software conversion of new PBS customers, helping them transition from their current DMS provider to PBS.
This position is based out of our Milton office . 50% of your time will be spent in the office and 50% of your time will be spent traveling to customer sites throughout North America as part of the pre-installation and installation team.
This is not a remote work opportunity .
Job Responsibilities :
Project Coordination :
- Lead and manage software conversion projects, including planning, organizing, and implementing project activities
- Collaborate with customers and other stakeholders to define project goals, scope, timeline, and resources
Training Management :
Coordinate and oversee training programs for customers on the use of PBS's softwareEnsure that training materials are up-to-date, effective, and aligned with the project objectivesProvide ongoing support and assistance to address any training-related issuesData Conversion :
Develop and implement data conversion plans to transfer data from the customer's existing software to PBS's softwareEnsure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the conversion processTroubleshoot and resolve any data-related issuesIntegration Management :
Establish and maintain integration with other third-party companies, such as CRM systems, DMS providers, and other software vendorsCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of PBS's software with other systemsOther Duties :
Maintain regular communication with customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and issuesPrepare and present project progress reports, metrics, and other documentationAbility to organize and manage multiple tasks, timelines and resources simultaneouslyAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are achievedAbility to be adaptable and adjust plans and strategies to keep projects on trackAbility to work collaboratively with the project team to achieve goalsAbility to lead the project team to success by providing clear direction, motivation and supportIdentify and solve problems that may arise during a projectLearn and develop an understanding of the PBS softwareAchieve and maintain one silo certificationThis role requires 50% travel to customer sites located in different regions, travel may be domestic or international depending on project requirementsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications :
Fluent in English and French (speaking, reading, writing)1-2 years' experience in the automotive industry or dealership operations is required1-2 years' experience in project management, preferably in software implementation or conversion projects is considered an assetCollege diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field is considered an assetStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholdersAbility to travel within Canada and the USA a minimum of 2 weeks per month ; in consequence proof of valid passport and / or US visa (if applicable) are requiredValid full class driver's license and access to a vehicle are requiredAbility to work weekends and holidays, as neededAbility to work non-standard hours, as neededWhat we offer :
