Allied Universal is seeking Security Supervisor - Mobile in various locations in Oshawa.

Job Title: Security Supervisor - Mobile

Job Location: Oshawa, ON

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Type: days, overnights, 1900-0700, 1700-0300, 0300-1100

Pay Rate: $18.19 - $19.19 per hour

Requirements: G License, Clean Driver's Abstract and 25 years age or above for insurance purposes.

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Supervisors - Mobile to provide professional, front-line security services for a various locations in the Oshawa area. As a Mobile Security Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets through patrols, monitoring, and incident response. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions:

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation

Requirements:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid ON Security Guard License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to provide a clear driver's abstract and ON Full G license.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
