Position Summary
The Inventory Specialist plays a key role in supporting and optimizing global inventory operations. This position involves performing defined inventory tasks, coordinating materials across regions, and ensuring accuracy within the SAP inventory system. The ideal candidate can work independently with minimal supervision and communicates effectively with internal teams.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Execute goods receipt postings in the ERP system and deliver materials to designated locations.
- Maintain oversight of incoming shipments from global sites and resolve related issues.
- Fulfill internal requests for inventory parts and accurately record transactions.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods.
- Participate in ongoing and periodic inventory counts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Vocational training, apprenticeship, or similar education in warehouse operations or a related field is required.Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and production / manufacturing environments preferred.Certification in transportation of dangerous goods (ground, ocean, air) preferred.Forklift and overhead crane operation certifications preferred.Familiarity with load securing methods preferred.Experience in international or culturally diverse settings is a plus.Proficiency in English and the local language required.Basic knowledge of :ERP systems (e.g., Navision, SAP)Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)SharePoint and Microsoft TeamsCore Competencies
