Nanny Wanted – Part-Time with Potential to Grow

We are a warm, thoughtful family looking for an experienced, confident nanny to care for our two young children in our home.

About our family :

• One baby (infant) and one preschool-aged child
• Preschooler attends school Tuesday–Friday (9–3) when healthy
• Parents work from home at times, but we are looking for a caregiver who is comfortable working independently
• No local family support, so reliability and consistency matter deeply to us

The role :

• Primary care for our baby
• Gradual introduction to caring for both children as trust and familiarity build
• Light child-related tasks only (tidying play areas, bottles, snacks)
• Parents may be home but unavailable during care hours

Schedule (to start) :

• 2–3 mornings per week (approximately 8am–12pm)
• Flexibility is a big plus
• Strong potential for increased hours over time, including the possibility of a more regular or expanded role in the future. Evenings and weekend work also possible and maybe appreciated as one parent occasionally works nights / weekends.

We are looking for someone who :

• Has prior experience caring for infants (nannying, daycare, or extensive personal experience)
• Is calm, confident, and able to make decisions independently
• Is comfortable caring for children when parents are not immediately available
• Understands child development and responds with warmth and patience
• Is reliable, communicative, and emotionally steady
• Is open to building a long-term relationship with our family

Bonus (not required but appreciated) :

• Experience caring for more than one child
• Comfort caring for mildly sick children (coughs and colds etc)
• Interest in a longer-term role that could grow with our family

Compensation :

• hourly rate starting at $22 per hour with room for increased wage based on experience
• Higher rate for additional responsibilities or expanded hours
