We are looking for a skilled and proactive Controller to join our finance team in Quebec. This role is central to ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting project management, and maintaining compliance with Canadian statutory requirements. You will work closely with both local and global stakeholders to support the financial health and operational efficiency of our Canadian entity.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Statutory Reporting
- Monthly accounting and statutory reporting
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Payroll accounting and reconciliation
- Travel expense and timesheet reconciliation
- Fixed asset accounting
Cash & Banking
Cash management and payment processingBank statement registration and reconciliationMonthly cash flow estimationITB banking responsibilitiesProject Support
Sales invoicing and project reconciliationMonthly review and update of project estimates and cash flowsSupport to Project ManagersTax & Administration
Tax-related tasks and complianceLiaison with local stakeholders (e.g., payroll providers, CPA)What we are looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial and project accountingBachelor’s degree in accountingStrong understanding of accounting regulations and statutory reportingExperience with ERP systems (Microsoft D365 FO is a plus)Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteFluent in English and French (written and oral)Key Qualities
