Initially, this role will lead the implementation of a new donor and gift management CRM, including migration of existing data from the current platform Your expertise in analysis and project delivery will be essential to driving this critical initiative forward. As the Product Manager, you will take a holistic approach to this project, building the platform with future growth and innovation in mind, but ensuring support of existing operations upon launch.Post-launch, this role will own the Philanthropy roadmap within the Product & Platforms portfolio. Working closely with the Philanthropy and IT leadership team, you will manage and advance the digital strategy roadmap for Philanthropy.Roles and responsibilities Act as product owner for Philanthropy digital solutions within the Product & Platforms Agile development team, overseeing the complete lifecycle of product development from ideation through to launch. Lead the discovery, design, and development of the new Salesforce CRM for Philanthropy.Collaborate with Philanthropy, IT, Marketing, Strategy, and other internal teams to define product features and functionalities. Own the Philanthropy product backlog including creating and prioritizing user stories.Lead continuous discovery and analysis activities such as current state and gap analysis, requirements gathering, solution design sessions, etc.Conduct market and user research to make data-informed product decisions.Ensure product meets or exceeds digital accessibility standards and is designed and tested with user experience best practices in mind. Support development activities including demonstration of completed functionality to stakeholders. Support testing and quality assurance activities include review of test strategy and cases; some test execution may be required.Plan, coordinate, and execute on user testing, including supporting testers, managing defects, and reporting progress.Working with Communications and Training team members, create communications and training materials to support user onboarding and adoption.Write release notes and internal communications for project launches and ongoing software releases.Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, project team, and external partners. Participate in team ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives and operational improvement initiatives within the team.Define and monitor key performance indicators, reporting product performance to stakeholders and MODC leadership team. Qualifications and experience Experience working within the non-profit sector or within the charitable giving space is required. Experience with operational areas such as gift processing is an asset.Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, or similar role within a CRM software migration and / or implementation project is required. Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) is an asset.Experience through all phases of project delivery and product development from ideation through to launch.Experience as a project manager or holding project management responsibilities within a software implementation project. Experience working within a variety of project delivery and software development approaches such as Agile, waterfall, and hybrid models.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and tailor content to various audience types.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skillsWorking knowledge of project management and delivery tools such as Jira, Asana, and MS Project.Familiarity with user experience design and digital accessibility standards are considered an asset.
