Position Summary

The HR Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to our leadership and employees, handling a wide range of HR responsibilities across Canada and the US. From employee relations to benefits administration, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling the full spectrum of HR tasks — big and small — and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide proactive, practical guidance to managers and employees.
• Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and policy implementation.
• Manage employee relations issues with fairness, confidentiality, and a no-nonsense approach.
• Administer and coordinate employee benefits programs for Canadian and US employees, including enrollments, changes, and renewals.
• Provide guidance and insights to the payroll team.
• Support compliance with employment laws and regulations in both Canada and the US.
• Assist in workplace investigations and incidents.
• Assist with talent acquisition efforts, partnering with hiring managers to attract and select great candidates.
• Maintain HR records and ensure accuracy of employee data.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that help us foster a supportive, respectful, and high-performing culture.
