NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION : PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER

Casual Position (12hr shifts) - $22.75-$27.75

POSITION SUMMARY : As a member of the interprofessional collaborative team the PSW is responsible for the delivery of quality care to residents and families implementing plans of care to provide emotional social spiritual and personal support that reflects the needs of each resident in a home- like hospice setting.

REPORTS TO : Director of Resident Care (DRC)

DATE REQUIRED : Position will remain posted until filled.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Completion of a PSW certificate with a recognized program
• Current BLS certification
• Completion of established palliative care courses such as Fundamentals and Applied Palliative Practice Skills. (APPS)
• Willing to train suitable applicants.
