Utilities Dispatch Analyst for a full-time temporary contract based in Markham, ON. This opportunity is ideal for analytical professionals with experience in data analysis, dispatch operations, and work order management systems who are looking to contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
As a
Utilities Dispatch Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing dispatch data, optimizing resource allocation, and monitoring key performance indicators to improve field and dispatch operations. Your work will directly support operational performance and strategic decision-making.
- Salary: $26.44 per hour
- Location: Markham, ON
- Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (March 2, 2026 - November 27, 2026)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:- Analyze dispatch data to identify trends and patterns
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient dispatch operations
- Work with Inventory Production Reports to support operational planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of dispatch and field operations
- Generate and maintain performance reports using Power BI and Excel
- Review work order management system data for accuracy and insights
- Identify operational gaps and propose data-driven solutions
- Support reporting and analysis requests from internal stakeholders
- Assist in tracking productivity and service performance metrics
Requirements and Qualifications:- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field
- 2+ years of experience using data analysis tools and techniques
- 3+ years of experience with Work Order Management Systems
- 1+ years of experience with Power BI and Excel
- Utility industry experience
- Knowledge of Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Business Analytics)
- Knowledge of industrial automation or related industries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
