Description de posteDesign high-speed digital and analog circuits, including professional PCB layout and schematic capture using industry-standard tools. Research, select, and review components based on market availability, performance, product lifecycle and cost Integrate electronic components, ensuring seamless functionality and compliance with protocols such as USB,USB 3.0, PCI-e, and gigabit Ethernet. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design a rugged, ergonomic, and portable chassis for system components, including phased array controllers, GPUs, displays, and ultrasound probes. Participate in laboratory testing of prototypes to validate performance, identify issues, and implement improvements. Ensure hardware meets regulatory certification standards, including FCC, UL, CE, and other relevant certifications. Work with testing agencies and certification bodies to achieve product compliance and approval. Maintain system documentation, including specifications, schematics, and integration guides, while managing risk analysis processes like FMEA. Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Hardware Engineering or related field. Minimum of three (3) years of industrial experience in hardware and electronics engineering Strong expertise in high-speed digital and analog circuit design, PCB layout and schematic capture Proficiency in electrical design tools such as Altium (preferred) or KiCad / Cadence / etc. Hands on experience with electronics prototyping, fine-pitch soldering and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies Practical knowledge of power management systems, battery operations and thermal system design. Proficiency in mechanical design tools – Solidworks and / or AutoCAD Practical knowledge of power management systems, battery operations and thermal system design Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset Familiarity with regulatory certification processes (FCC, UL, CE, etc) and experience in achieving product compliance
Pertinent Information : Direct hire position with a very progressive company. Steady days. 100% in person – no remote work offered.
Wage : $110,00 – 130,000 / year + comprehensive benefits package. Negotiable for the right candidate.
- Possible $10K relocation reimbursement.

Job Description
The Electronics and Hardware Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and integrating the hardware for a portable, high-performance ultrasound imaging system for non-destructive testing applications. The role combines expertise in electronics design, thermal and mechanical integration, regulatory compliance and project management to deliver an innovative, rugged system that meets stringent performance and reliability standards.
