We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting and Admin Clerk to join our vibrant team. This role is instrumental and challenging, as it demands more than just handling payables. It invites a hands-on individual to partake in the essential back-office operations of finance, including administering data entry and administrative tasks. The position requires an individual who can maintain high levels of accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Process and verify requests and invoices in a timely manner.
  • Prepare, verify, and process payments for invoices and internal requests.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation and records.
  • Resolve inquiries regarding invoices and ensure timely and accurate response.
  • Assist in month-end / adhoc requests for financial close for adhering to SOPs.
  • Maintain files, including filing of vouchers, accounts payable documentation, and other miscellaneous filings.
  • Process high-volume data-entry into the system as assigned.
  • Vendor inquiries / requests and follow ups
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, sorting mail, and filing.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

  • A minimum of an accounting diploma or certificate from a reputable institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry and a solid administrative background, preferably within a finance department.
  • High proficiency in data entry with a fast-typing speed, ensuring high levels of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures and general ledger systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, as well as a higher degree of skill with financial software.
  • Core Skills :

  • Superior attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical Requirements :

    The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. These include being able to sit at a computer and use a keyboard for extended periods of time, being able to move about the office, and being able to talk and hear.
